In 1985, our founder, Chuck, started this business in Columbus, Ohio. The adventure began when he bought his first Xerox machine and began offering wholesale pricing to other commercial printers in the area.
By 1995, Chuck had moved his business to the north side of Columbus and started under the Tempto franchise name.
In 2002, rebranded as A-1 Copy & Mailing Services, Chuck’s daughter, Deb, took over the family business.
Now we serve clients all across the United States. Our quality in service has stood the test of several decades, all at wholesale prices!

Mailing/Fulfillment Services
Addressed post cards, letter mailings, and flat mailings are just a few of the mailing services we offer. We can address envelopes and tab self-mailers for both marketing and first class mail.
No permit? No problem. We can use our own!

Bindery Services
Our stitching capabilities combine the efforts of both Duplo Systems and Interlake. We can add a stitch to any book project up to 7/8” thick.
Perfect Binding
Our current glue is the most flexible we can find. Bind up to 15.7” tall books and up to 1 3/16” thick. Three knife trims are available upon request.
Plastic Binding
Wire-O, comb/GBC, coil: you name it, we bind it. Any size book up to 1 1/2″ thick.
Tape Binding
It is also known as “Fastback Binding.” We can bind documents in lengths from 5” to 14 7/8” long and up to 350 pages thick.

Additional Services
- We can laminate sheets up to 27” wide. Film variety includes 1 sided or 2 sided matte and gloss laminates with thicknesses ranging from 1.7 mil to 10 mil.
Free Pickup & Delivery
- Orders of $50.00 plus get free delivery within Franklin County, Ohio.
Die Cutting
- Anything from door hangers to window signs can be cut out in our old, but faithful, Miehle Vertical press. We can even make business card slits or rounded corners.
